Job Description
At Sonat, the Ads Monetization role is responsible for operating and optimizing the advertising system in mobile games/apps to maximize revenue and player LTV, while ensuring a positive user experience and working closely with the Product and UA teams.

WORKING HOURS

2. JOB DESCRIPTION
Advertising System Setup & Operation
- Set up and operate mediation systems and configure ad networks such as AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, ironSource, etc.
- Manage and optimize ad bidding strategies by geo, user segments, and game titles.
Revenue Analysis & Optimization
- Monitor and analyze monetization metrics including eCPM, ARPDAU, Fill Rate, Impressions, Revenue by segment.
- Analyze data and propose optimization strategies to improve revenue performance and long-term product sustainability.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work directly with Ad Network representatives to communicate, negotiate, resolve issues, and stay updated on policy changes.
- Collaborate closely with Product and UA teams to optimize player LTV, balancing growth and user experience.
LTV Optimization through A/B Testing
- Design, implement, and monitor A/B tests related to ads (format, frequency, placement, etc.).
- Optimize player Lifetime Value (LTV) to support UA in scaling business growth effectively.
- Measure the impact of ads on LTV, retention, and user experience.
Ad Quality Control
- Ensure ad formats (Rewarded, Interstitial, Banner, Native) are implemented appropriately without negatively affecting UX.
- Review and evaluate ad quality, content, and relevance for each game title.
Policy Compliance
- Monitor, detect, and handle policy violations from Google, AppLovin, Unity, and other ad networks (content issues, abnormal behavior, etc.).
- Propose adjustments to ensure apps comply with Store and Ad Network guidelines, minimizing operational risks.
3. REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar role within the mobile game or mobile app industry.
- Basic knowledge of advertising models in mobile games/apps.
- Understanding of mediation, waterfall, header bidding, and how these models operate.
- Familiarity with core game/app metrics such as LTV, ARPU, Retention, etc.
- Knowledge of popular ad networks in the mobile game/app industry.
- Hands-on experience in basic monetization setup on mediation platforms is a plus.
SKILLS
- Proficient English communication skills in all four areas: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and evaluate monetization metrics.
- Experience using data analysis tools to support daily work.
- Ability to work with external partners and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Skills in setting up and monitoring A/B tests, evaluating effectiveness through data.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
